Project Overview
The workshop is geared towards talented English students, offering them an opportunity to write articles about school news, as well as stories and other creative pieces for WYJJ Buzz, the school news and literary magazine.
Students read model texts in different genres and learn how to write pieces of their own. Model texts include classic children’s stories read by students around the world. Students will learn to examine model texts closely and look at the techniques used by real writers.
As students draft and revise their pieces, they will polish their work for sharing with others. During the revision process, the teacher will review common grammar and usage problems with the students and help them develop strategies for checking their own work.
